WELCOME THE THE SCHS SENIOR EXHIBITION HOME PAGE

PURPOSE
Senior Exhibitions give students the opportunity to reflect on the past four years of high school to see how much they have grown and matured.  When reviewing schoolwork saved for their portfolio, they will realize that as they leave high school they are not the same person that they were when they entered as freshmen.

Students get the chance to identify their strengths and weaknesses in and out of school and use this information to help guide their college and career choices as they approach adulthood.  Seniors have the opportunity to reflect on their successes and failures and the important life lessons that came from those experiences.  The exhibition gives them a framework in which to articulate their goals and look to the future as the high school experience comes to a close.

The exhibition is an important preparation for life after high school because presentations of this type are frequently used as a selection process for jobs, college entrance, and for selling oneself, a product, or an idea.

OBJECTIVES
Students will do the following:
1.    Demonstrate and reflect on their academic experience over 4 years.
2.    Demonstrate and reflect on a meaningful experience that occurred in and outside of school.
3.    Demonstrate that they have planned or thought about their future.
4.    Use technology to present their ideas.
