Volunteer Opportunities For information on committees, please click here.The following new ad-hoc committees are currently being formed: Marketing/Public Relations Committee will focus on marketing the school for admissions and employment purposes. Committee members will promote school events through local organizations, schools, community newspapers, etc. The Committee is also intended to help improve communication and increase school pride within the school community of Steele Canyon High School. The Marketing/Public Relations Committee will be an on-going School Site Committee and can use many volunteers to make the workload as light as possible. Please contact Teresa Greenhalgh at T_Greenhalgh@cox.net to volunteer for this committee. Governing Board Elections Committee is an Ad-Hoc Committee that will meet in order to plan and prepare for the September 2009 Board Elections. Revisions to documents and the Election Policy will need to be approved by the Board at the June meeting. The committee will conduct the elections for both the staff and community member positions up for election in 2009. In 2009 there will be three (3) positions up for elections: one (1) certificated and two (2) community members. Each seat will run for a three (3) year term.
