AP Test Fees

AP tests are on sale NOW through Friday November 6. Tests must be purchased on the TotalRegistration website at www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/053613 with a debit card, credit card, or by reserving the test online and then mailing a check, money order or cashier's check to TotalRegistration. All AP tests will cost $100 each unless you qualify for Free/Reduced lunch, in which case you will be able to purchase tests for $5. According to College Board’s new exam fee policies, year-long AP students who register and pay after the deadline will be assessed $40.00/exam late fee. In addition, a $40.00/exam cancellation fee will be assessed for any exam order canceled after tests have been ordered on November 13. The ordering deadline for second term only courses will be March 12, 2021. Second term only courses are AP Econ, AP Gov, AP Bio, APES, and AP Spanish Language. Students enrolled in the following AP courses will have to meet the November 6 test purchase deadline:

  • AP Psychology

  • AP World History

  • AP US History

  • AP Statistics

  • AP Calculus

  • AP English Language & Comp

  • AP English Literature

Free/Reduced Lunch Students

If you received Free/Reduced lunch last year, you must re-apply every year to qualify for a $5 AP Test. If you think you might qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch, and therefore a reduced AP test fee, but haven't yet applied through the Grossmont District website, please click on this link to the Meal/Lunch program application. https://onlinemealapps.guhsd.net/

You must submit your Free/Reduced Lunch application by October 16 to meet the November 6 purchase deadline and receive a $5 test. If you submit the application, please wait until you hear back from the district about your status before you purchase your AP test. All reduced fee tests must be purchased online with a credit card or by printing the invoice and mailing a check, money order, or cashier's check.

If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Quintanilla at mquintanilla@schscougars.org
