Got Plans? 2019

The East County Education Alliance is hosting our 16th annual Got Plans? Career & College Fair for all 9th - 12th grade students and parents on Saturday, October 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Grossmont College in El Cajon. Don't miss this opportunity to chat with admissions representatives from more than 75 public and private universities, community colleges, trade schools, and the military.  The annual event is free and offers a variety of educational workshops including information on four-year universities, two-year colleges, assistance with college applications, financial aid, NCAA, SAT/ACT tests and more! Some sessions will be offered in Spanish and Arabic.  Parking is free. More details are available here.

It is the policy of the State of California to afford all persons in public schools, regardless of their disability, gender, gender identity, gender expression, nationality, race or ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic that is contained in the definition of hate crimes set forth in Section 422.55 of the Penal Code, including immigration status, equal rights, and opportunities in the educational institutions of the state. The purpose of this chapter is to prohibit acts that are contrary to that policy and to provide remedies therefor.
