Purchase your ticket with

  • CREDIT CARD on 5 Star

  • CASH at the Finance Office

  • Guest tickets must be purchased at the Finance Office & are CASH ONLY

(Guest Passes are available online or the finance office).

TICKET PRICES

  • Oct 14 - Nov 12: $65 w/ASB; $75 w/out ASB

  • Nov 13 - Dec 18: $75 w/ASB; $85 w/out ASB

  • Dec 19 - Jan 28: $85 w/ASB; $95 w/out ASB

  • Tickets are capped at 800 guests

TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Guest Passes

Do you plan to bring a guest that is not an SCHS student?

  1. Obtain a copy of the guest pass from the finance office or download the guest pass linked below

  2. Fill out the form and obtain the appropriate signatures and business card

  3. Bring the completed form to the Finance Office and purchase your ticket and your guest's ticket at the same time.

Note: You and your guest must arrive at the dance together in order to be admitted.

Parking

Balboa Park now uses paid parking.

  • Parking permits are virtual and can be purchased through the City of San Diego’s Balboa Park Payment Portal.

  • We recommend purchasing your permit in advance.

  • Permits are also available at park kiosks.

Resident Discount:

  • City of San Diego residents may apply for discounted permits.

  • Verification may take up to two business days.

Free Parking Option:

  • Level 3 Lot offers up to 3 hours of free parking.

  • Parking enforcement ends at 8 PM.

  • A free trolley will transport guests to The Prado.

Families are encouraged to carpool or arrange drop-off and pick-up.

Attire - Parisian Elegance
Formal wear.
 
Check-In - Your Passport to Paris

  • Bring your Student ID or 5-Star Student ID.

  • You will only be admitted if your name is on the list.
    (Your bid is a keepsake and is not your ticket, so it may be left at home.)

  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 
Guest Check-In - Travel Together

  • Guests must bring a school ID or driver’s license.

  • Non-SCHS guests must arrive and enter with their host student.

  • Guests are listed under the host student’s last name.

  • Guests arriving without their host will not be admitted.

 
Security - A Safe and Elegant Evening
For everyone’s safety, the following procedures will be in place:

  • All students will be searched upon entry, including bags and coats (no coat check).

  • Breathalyzers and metal-detecting wands will be used.

  • SCHS administration and sheriffs will be present.

Prohibited Items:

  • No outside food, beverages, liquids, glass bottles, or medications

  • No gum, mints, or food items (these will be discarded)

  • No food or drink allowed inside the venue

Additional Expectations:

  • No crowd surfing or throwing items.

  • Students may be asked to leave for unsafe behavior.

  • No re-entry once you leave.

  • Students are discouraged from leaving before 9:30 PM and may be questioned.

  • All school rules apply to students and guests.

  • Arrive early to take photos throughout Balboa Park
